After listening to one of the songs from the album, Maati, Prasoon Joshi received a letter from Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. He was then recommended to Mr. Raj Kumar Santoshi after which Prasoon got his first break in films for lyrics writing. This is how he got to work on the title track of Lajja.
